PGF's JOAD 4th Quarter Virtual Tournament
Wasting Arrows is excited to host our Vegas Sanctioned Indoor League! This 10 week league will be shooting the NFAA Vegas Target. Either a single spot 40cm or a Vegas 3 spot target can be shot. Archers will shoot 30 arrows each week in 10 ends of 3, for a total possible score of 300. Money Shooters will shoot 2 Vegas Rounds each night.
We will have a Novice Division for anyone who wants to try a league who hasn't done it before. We will show you the ropes, tell you the rules and make sure you have a blast! (Note: If your average score is above 270 we will bump you into the majors, sorry sandbaggers, you'll have to play with the big boys)
Shoot whichever night works better for you! Can't make a Tuesday night, no problem, make it up on Sunday. Going on vacation next week? No problem shoot two nights this week! This will open up this league to way more shooters!
League sign up costs are $35.00 and $25.00 per night or $200.00 prepaid in full (Save $85.00!).
This league we are shooting an optional Money Shoot. Money Shooters will shoot a 60 arrow round each week. Money Shooter pay $60 to participate in the money shoot $50 per shooter will go into the pot. Pot will be determined using the NFAA Purse Distribution Table. Pay table is shown in the documents page. Money shoot has no age, style or gender divisions all money shooters are competing for the same prize. All Money Shooters will be handicapped using the NFAA Handicapping System.
Archers shoot at 30 Christmas Ornaments and try to break as many as they can! You get 3 points for breaking an Ornament and 1 point for just hitting the tree! The archer with the most points wins!

This FREE event is for youth participants who recently attended the Maison T. Ortiz Youth Outdoor Skills Camp . It is designed to allow for a more in-depth experience with archery. There are 40 spots available. However, since space is limited if you register please show up the day of the event.

Come join us for a post-Christmas evening of fun and fellowship. Archers will shoot two 30 arrow rounds at 18m. Awards will be given in each category. Following shooting, archers and their families are welcome to join in playing some games for gifts. Buffet style dinner will be provided to everyone.

The USA Archery Virtual Tournament is a GREAT way to experience the excitement of a national event and test your skills against archers across the country, from the comfort of your local archery range! The Virtual Tournament is being shot at Wasting Arrows Saturday December 29th.
The round is a 30 arrow round shot at a 40 CM Target face (either single or 3 vertical spots). Compounds must score on the inner 10 ring.
Cost is $25.00 for adult archers, youths and collegiate. You must be a member of USA Archery to compete.
YOUTH AGE CLASSES:
Participants may compete as a:
“Bowman” through the calendar year of their 12th birthday.
“Cub” through the calendar year of their 14th birthday.
“Cadet” through the calendar year of their 17th birthday.
“Junior” through the calendar year of their 20th birthday.
SENIOR AND MASTER AGE CLASSES:
Participants may compete as a:
“Senior” at any age.
“Master” when the competition takes place in the year of their 50th birthday and thereafter.

25th Annual Iowa Pro-Am Archery Tournament.
Located in Central Iowa this is one of the premier archery tournaments in the country. We had over 600 participants last year and anticipate further growth in the years to come. The Iowa Pro-Am is a two(2) day indoor shoot. First day is an NFAA 5 spot - 360 round and the second day is a 3 spot "Vegas" - 330 round. Shoot with the Pros on Saturday night and/or compete in the flight event for your chance to win money. Practice range and bow storage is available on-site.

WaXoBe hosts a Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Program. This program is open to members and non-members alike and is intended for those archers, ages 8 to 18, with a serious interest in learning and competing in the sport of archery.
Both recurve and compound bows are used in the program's activities and archers are instructed in the use of one or both disciplines. We subscribe mainly to the National Training System (NTS) for the recurve program. As JOAD archers develop, they can train to compete in local and regional tournaments.

Explore Archery in Wasting Arrows half day archery camp. This camp is for archers 8-14 years old who are interested in learning to shoot a bow. The camp runs from 8:30 am to 11:30 am Explore Archery is fun and a perfect fit for archers of any ability wanting to get involved in the sport of target archery. If you are new to the sport of archery or a beginner archer looking for an introductory program to sign up for, Explore Archery has what you need to get started! You'll learn important skills like range safety and proper shooting form, play exciting games and earn achievement awards.
Archers can use their own equipment or rent equipment at the shop.
Archers need to wear closed toe shoes, athletic clothing, and bring a snack.
Join this series to have your scores entered for the multi-range league! Your local league will submit scores to this event for ranking across multiple locations. Awards will be given for first-third in each division.
Competition will be a weekly 360 Round, starting January 8, running every Tuesday night and ending on March 12 (10 weeks)
Competitors will need to submit 3 - 360 round scores by January 6 for handicapping
Looking for some friendly competition in a fun , laid-back environment? Then you should join the league at Music City Archery!
Come join us on January 12, 2019 for Cabin Fever 2019! This is a 600 round shoot with 2 line time available. If you are working on achievement pins, you will have the opportunity to earn that pin during the FIRST HALF ONLY.
This will be a USA Archery sanctioned shoot. Please be mindful that the USA Archery dress code and rules will be enforced.
Line times: 9am and 1pm
Note: If you earn your pin, you will receive it when you hand in your score card.
Awards for the Cabin Fever shoot will be handed out at the end of the 1pm line.

Course will be taught by Level 4 NTS Coach Lystra Pitts at Impact Archery Las Vegas
Level 1 course will focus on introducing basic archery skills to beginners and an introduction to the National Training System (NTS) basic shooting steps.
Level 2 course will include intermediate NTS shooting steps, safety, range set-up, equipment setup and repair, fitting equipment to an archer, how to teach archery and how to teach a Level 1 course.
Please note: No certification will be processed without membership and a successful background screen.
Other Course Info: Course Fee includes all materials, does not include memberships or background screening.
Both Level 1 and Level 2 Certifications are available.

Start the new year at the Oregon S3DA State Indoor Championships! Open to all S3DA members.
JOAD archers currently in a JOAD program are welcome to come and have some fun competing against their peers from all over the midwest. PCA is hosting a Winter JOAD Indoor tournament again this year. It is a (60) arrow tournament set up in (2) 30- arrow rounds so that you have opportunity to earn your next two achievment pin awards! Parents and interested on-lookers are welcome to come watch and root on their favorite archers. Food will also be available from Brew and Brew. This is a USA Archery sanctioned event, so all USA Archery rules apply, including equipment checks and dress code.
Please note that Yoemen will register and shoot as Bowmen for this tournament. Please arrive 30 minutes before your line time for equipment checks.

Come have some fun at the State JOAD Championship for the state of Iowa. This state JOAD Indoor Championship is not only for youth JOAD Archers in the state of Iowa, but also open to any youth JOAD archer wanting to compete for awards. A USA sanctioned event, this tournament will be following World Archery format and rules. This should be a fun tournament, shooting a 600 round, that will award the top archers in the state (out of state guests will also be awarded if in top three). Tournament will be shot as TWO 30 arrow rounds, which gives double opportunity for archers to earn their next pin award (from their club). Perfect practice for those planning on attending the JOAD National Indoor tournament. Also special DUAL STATE awards for archers participating in BOTH Illinois and Iowa state tournaments. Come join us for a fun day! Guests are more than welcome and food available during tournament. USA Archery dress code will be strictly enforced. 2019 Buffalo Bulls-Eye Classic is a World Archery STAR FITA tournament (application pending), which allows archers to set world records and apply for World Archery Star Awards. USA Archery or NFAA membership required. USA Archery rules will apply, with distances set by class and bow type. USA Archery's Dress code will be in effect.
Two 36 arrow rounds at FITA-specified distance, with 10 min break in between rounds will be shot in the morning. Awards for the Buffalo Bullseye Classic will be decided based on the combined scores for these 72 arrows.
Optional Elimination rounds will be shot in the afternoon at approx. 2pm, with brackets and seeding based on scores from the first 72 arrows and distance shot. The Elimination rounds are not part of the championship, just for bragging rights and possible extra goodies.
A new TEAM Elimination round will also be shot in the afternoon after Elimination rounds (approx. 3:30 pm), with brackets and seedings fudged, based on scores from the first 72 arrows. 3 person teams will consist of (1) Barebow archer, (1) Recurve archer and (1) Compound archer, of any gender and of any age. ALL archer rounds in the Team Elimination rounds will be shot at 50m distance, with Barebow and Recurve archers shooting at a 122cm target, while Compound Archers will shoot at a 6-ring 80cm target. Team will shoot 6 arrows within a 2 min window, with each archer shooting 2 arrows, in any manner of rotation desired. Standard elimination format rules will apply. Again the Team Elimination rounds are not part of the championship, just a fun event for possible extra goodies. Team rounds will be shot after individual archer Elimination rounds are complete.
Open practice is presently anticipated from 8:45 am to 9:30 am prior to the morning session and from 1:15 to 1:45 pm prior to the afternoon session.

This is a 3 day archery competition that is open to everyone with a passion for the sport of archery. This event is for ALL shooters, hunters, and archery enthusiasts. This is an extremely fun and social event that also showcases some fantastic competition for both pros and amateurs alike.

New this year with our partnership with the Archery Shooters Association (ASA) we will feature 20 Target McKenzie ranges that are also featured on the Delta McKenzie Pro/Am Tour complete with full ASA 12 ring scoring. Additionally we will be featuring the Team USA VS Team Canada Shootout Finals where Team USA Competitors will be going head to head vs Team Canada competitors. We will take the top amateur qualifiers from the Men's Known Open, Women's Known Open or Senior Womens Known Open, Senior Men's Known Open along with the highest scoring Pins Class Competitor, the highest scoring Youth Open Competitor, and the highest scoring Barebow Competitor to field 1 Team from the US and 1 from Canada. Additionally the highest scoring Pro from each country will be the team captain for each of the teams and their qualifying score will be the starting score for each team heading into the Team Canada VS Team USA Pressure Point Shootdowns.
Also new this year we would like to welcome Competition Archery Media (CAM Media) who will be providing live internet broadcast coverage of the event. Special Thanks to CAM Media and Lancaster Archery for their continued support of this event and the Lancaster Trailer will be on site again this year.
Once again the winners in each class will be crowned with the coveted 2019 Champions Jersey and more . We will feature vendor showcases, seminars and so much more. This will be the biggest and best Winter 3D Tournament yet and space will be limited.
